BEER BRAISED BRISKET

SERVES: 4- 6

COOK TIME: 3 HOURS

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs. Tomer Kosher Brisket
  • 1 Red Onion, Sliced
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Sliced
  • 2 tbsp. Tomato Paste
  • 1 12 oz. Beer
  • 1 c. Beef or Chicken Broth
  • Kosher Salt
  • Cracked Pepper
  • Olive Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 325.

2. Heat a large pan or Dutch oven, lightly coated with olive oil, over medium high heat.  Season the brisket with salt and pepper.  Sear the brisket on both sides until very brown and caramelized.

3. Add the remaining  ingredients to the Dutch oven, or large pan.  Cover and braise the brisket for 3 hours or until the meat is tender and can be easily be pierced with a fork.

4. Serve with potatoes, rice or noodles.
